Over the past decade adobe has dominant the design graphic software and has a high reputation in the design industry. Adobe also a standard design tool in the design and education industry. However, the past few year we got quite a lot of alternative software like Vectornator, GIMP, Krita, Inkscape and our main hero Affinity.
Affinity software is developed by a company named as Serif at 2014. When the first release at that time, I had tried to test it whether it can replace adobe suites. Unfortunately, it’s really lags and unstable. After few years update, affinity getting more stable and features that be able to compete with adobe.
The main selling points that affinity offer which are NO SUBSCRIPTION, ONE TIME PURCHASE ONLY. This is a huge advantage compare to the adobe monthly subscription.
Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Affinity offering a 50% discount for users who would prefer to buy and keep the apps, including iPad versions. Now the Affinity almost crush the value to having it! Just buying one software, for an example like Adobe Illustrator. It’s come with $21 per month with the annual plan and still not included the tax yet! The Affinity Designer original price is $50 but now they offer 50% discount! So just $25 only!
You can buy all software like Affinity Photo (= Adobe Photoshop), Affinity Designer (= Adobe Illustrator) and Affinity Publisher (= Adobe Indesign) with $75 only. I can’t really believe that adobe charge so much compares to the affinity.
Here I should also need to remind you, although affinity is one time purchase only with all the up come free update which is nice! But you really need to aware which version you are buying. The product key cannot be use for both macOS and Windows. What I mean is, if you’re mac user you cannot use the window version that you bought. So, you’re really need to be carefully on that.

Affinity grown up really fast, they are keeping update the new features and I personal see the possibility to replace Adobe in the few decade. Erm...I also curious did anyone using Affinity rather than Adobe ? Please let ME know XD
